If you want to know what an independent journalist thinks of current plays in the London West End, this is where to come. This will be the first place you can read professional reviews days – often weeks – before they appear in the press.
When reading these reviews, please keep in mind that (in most cases) the play hasn’t ‘officially openened’; the reviews will take this into consideration and treat it as a work in progress. Cast members and PR people shouldn’t be worried – as well as being a journalist I’m also a writer and a lover of theatre. I will be honest in my reviews, but without prejudice or being negative for the sake of being negative. Honest but fair, I guess is a good way of putting it.
Additionally I will, where possible, include a “Word on the Street” video, giving not only my point of view but that of other audience members.
